Introduction

I just bought my first bike and I am want to hook up for group rides. I also want to meet other women who like to ride.

Where do you live? What do you ride? How long have you been riding? Have you taken any motorcycle safety courses? Do you have a rider nickname? Have you been a member of a social riding organization before?

I live in Carrollton I practiced on my boyfriends bike in the DART parking lot for a few months then took a motorcycle safety course. I purchased a 2003 Honda Shadow ACE 750 two months ago and I have worked up from riding around my neighborhood to driving to small towns north of Dallas for breakfast. This weekend I will be riding solo to Eufaula, Oklahoma. I have not been a member of a social riding organization before and I have no rider nickname.

I am really enjoying meeting other women that ride and I really like the focus on topics like safety and maintenance. The group removes a lot of the intimidation factor that comes with being a new rider. I am looking forward to good rides and good friends.
