Live on the Chuo? Join us!

This group is aimed at people who live on or near the Chuo Line here in Tokyo. I live on the Western side of the Chuo (near Tachikawa) and find myself always wishing there were more groups meeting and doing stuff near me (or at least easier for me to get to.) There are LOTS of cool things to do in Tachikawa, Hachioji, Kokubunji, Koenji, Showa Park, even out in Ome and Takao. I'm hoping that this group could do the occasional week-day event somewhere within easy walking distance of a Chuo station - whether that be dinner, happy hour, live music, or just having coffee. We could do "bigger" Chuo-line activities once a month on a weekend - hiking in Takao or picnicking at Showa Park, etc.

I'd REALLY like it if other people who live this direction and are familiar with their stations and areas join and lead events, too! And, if you're on the Chuo going towards Chiba? Heck, that'd be awesome, too! :)
