Chuo Line Adventure Group - Oops!!!

Hello, Everyone!

I had been wondering why I hadn't heard anything from anyone in the meetup group the entire time I was in the US on vacation; or after I got back. I've been so busy this school year, and kept thinking about doing something for our group; but since I hadn't heard anything from anyone I thought, "well, no rush!"

I logged on today and it turns out that for some reason, ALL of my emails for the last few months from meetup have BOUNCED BACK. So - I didn't know people were joining/leaving, coming up with ideas for things to do, etc.

So - I logged on today - and I have to renew by Monday the 4th of October if I want to keep this up!!!! And, to be honest, I'm pretty busy. If anyone wants to step up to lead ONE event, I'll let you, and I'll pay to keep the group alive. Then, however, I'll be charging for any and all events - maybe 100 yen? Not much - but running the group costs around 7500 yen a year (for the website/meetup fees, not including time and energy and research and the like.) I only charged for a couple of things last year - but I think if I want to keep doing this, I need to not be paying for it all myself.

Is that fair to everyone? If some other people run some events, then I can run one myself maybe once a month or so. I know yesterday I was in Kichijoji and was thinking "this would have been a good Chuo group event!" Same with eating Okonomiyaki in Koenji. So - I have some ideas - but I need to look at my work calendars, etc. to decide when I have the time to lead one.

I see someone wanted to try a ghost restaurant? If you want to lead that, let me know! I'll try to come to events that other people host - I'm just a little overwhelmed at the moment.

Thank you everyone! I'm so, so, sorry I didn't know my emails were bouncing! I wonder why?? Anyway - I changed my email address so should be receiving all emails from now on.
