The Columbus group made me aware of this event that is occurring in Dayton. Apparently it is one of the biggest HAM radio conventions in the nation. Since this is further in the future (May), I really encourage people to start looking into communications prior to going. Here's a short video of the expo:

Tickets are $20. Have a read as there is training, an expo, demos, etc.

Folks, Just got back from Hamvention.
Lots of dealers and it's a large collection.

Parking is around $5-$8.00 depending how far it is. The closer ones with a shuttle bus is around $8.00 or more.

We parked and walked the $5.00 deal...not too far from Hara Arena ( barely a block)

As you face toward the convention center at the first light, turn right and you'll see ushers on the right, that's the cheap parking we got for 5 bucks
    It's next to a pub...

Get there early, today ( Friday ) was crowded but I'd expect more on the weekends and parking $$ may go up.

Checkout their free mini seminars in the schedule booklet they give out.

Do checkout their flea market, more stuff than you can see.

Just a preview of what to expect...hope this helps.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
