Seeing bears in Kings Canyon

Watching a fellow hiker playing with a fire, she looked like a dipping bird putting each stick in the fire as she moved around the fire.
What was your most embarrassing backpacking moment?
Getting caught bathing.
What's the longest backpacking trip you've ever taken? (in mileage and/or days)
5 days up and back from Mt. Whitney.

Hi Jay,
I have been following postings of activities and am very eager to participate as soon as I recover from a recent climbing accident. -
Barry had told me that your wife comes along most of the time, I would have liked to meet her. The creek crossings in BSF are plentiful, I remember 28 on my last hike in July. Thanks for your response and I am looking forward to meeting you on one of these hikes this year.

i am a member of the Michigan Adventurers club in Detroit..I am planning to drive down to concinnatti this weekend and came across this backpacking trip u posted for this weekend.
i was wondering if the trip is still happening and if i could join?
