Hmmm. Let's see. My buzz words are nature, laughter, goofiness, sarcasm, boy scout, nerdy, laid back, social. The rest you'll find out when we meet.

Please relate, in general terms, your backpacking experience.

It has been a loooong time since I've done any backpacking because I've spent the past 15 years in NYC. Not much green there. So, I'll say I'm a newbie but am an enthusiastic newbie...

What was your favorite backpacking experience?

I haven't backpacked since I was in Boy Scouts many a year ago...

What was your funniest backpacking moment?

Well, my sister, her then fiance, a friend and I all hiked out to our campsite and silly me...I decided it would be a great idea to hike the hills of Kentucky with shorts on. It was nice and warm so I sweat off my insect repellent...I was chigger central (toes to neck) by the time we got camp set up and I was settled in for the evening...yowzers...not so funny back then, but pretty funny right now...to soothe the itch I applied toothpaste liberally...LIBERALLY. Ahhh...those were the days.

What was your most embarrassing backpacking moment?

What's the longest backpacking trip you've ever taken? (in mileage and/or days)

Only a handful...maybe 2 miles...but we camped out for 2 days.

Hi Donald! I literally just saw the second message you wrote on my wall. I'm really sorry i didn't reply sooner! Brooklyn, we are definitely neighbors! I used to go to brooklyn a lot, where about did you move from? When I first moved here it was really lonely but I have met some real awesome people in some different groups. Cincinnati New Arrivals has some new events coming up in the next few weeks that I hope you can make it to! :)
