I'm a fairly proficient hiker, but have always done day trips. I would like to start doing multi-day, and this looks like a great way to learn. Hope to see you all on the trail!
I've hiked Mt. Washington in a day, and several similar trails. No mountain climbing. I've climbed about 5,000 ft up Mt. Shasta. All day trips though.
There were so many great ones! Mt. Shasta was surreal. Bridal path in NH was exciting because I did it in four hours.
In high school, some kid puked in our 8 person tent... Wasn't funny at the time.
Nothing comes to mind - I guess the best is yet to come!
10 miles roughly with 3200 ft elevation
