Interested in meeting others that have a passion for the outdoors

Please relate, in general terms, your backpacking experience.

Although I've done a lot of hiking and camping - Joshua Tree, Boulder Basin, Crested Butte, Red River Gorge - I haven't done that much backpacking ....yet!

What was your favorite backpacking experience?

Both times have been with my daughters to Big South Fork area. The ticks were NOT my favorites.

What was your funniest backpacking moment?

Waiting for this experience....

What was your most embarrassing backpacking moment?

None yet.

What's the longest backpacking trip you've ever taken? (in mileage and/or days)

A couple of days.

Good having you aboard.....Looks like you're like me and love the outdoors. While I am also a hiking and camping guru, our group mostly focuses on day trips, side trips, and cool places to see and visit in Kentucky. I do have some plans for camping though....See you on one of the adventures!

Diane, I'm hoping to leave work around 11am so I can be on the road before noon. Not sure if that part of IN is Chicago or Cincy time - either way, it should be OK to check in early. Diane, I just called and the last ride leaves by 5pm and the cost is only $16.00 - cheap! I'm hoping to be out there by 3pm. If you want to ride, let me know and I can wait for you.

Diane, sounds great. I'm hoping to get there by about 3pm to get some horseback riding in. I haven't been here since '94 - one of my favorite parks. I was thinking of possibly hot chocolate. Maybe if I have any at home. See you tomorrow and have a great time seeing your family beforehand.
