Lake Isabella is a lovely location right off I-275 at exit 52. As long as the weather is nice we'll hold our raw potlucks here the 3rd Saturday of each month at 1 pm through October.

This is a great location for some -- for others, not so much. If you haven't already done so, please click on the "Polls" link on the left side of this page and to let us know what neighborhood is most convenient for you so we can take that into consideration when planning future raw potlucks.

GOOD THINGS TO BRING:
1. Beverage of your choice
2. Your Raw dish, of course - yummm ;)
3. A plate and some utensils
4. A blanket or chair (there are also picnic tables at this location)
5. A friend to whom you'd like to introduce raw foods
6. Good stories
7. Laughter

ONE FINAL NOTE: Although no fee will be charged to attend this potluck, we will put out a cup for donations to help offset the cost of maintaining this website. If you can spare just a dollar, it will be appreciated, but it is NOT a requirement -- participation is strictly voluntary. Thanks and I'm really looking forward to meeting you (and tasting your yummy raw dishes)!

    •  It was great meeting Karen and Alok, spending time with my special friends, Melissa and Sue and ... I learned some new things and loved the new creatiive new taste treats I experienced. Thank you so much!
    •  A beautiful day, incredible food, and sweet, loving, and interesting people converged on Lake Isabella, only to find the park closed due to downed power lines in the aftermath of Hurricane Ike's visit to our area. Being the resourceful people that raw-foodies are, we waited a few minutes for everyone to arrive at the blocked entrance and recalulated our plans. Thanks to Alok for leading our caravan to nearby Hopewell Meadows Park - a delightful venue for our meetup! And thanks to each of you who came and brought such delicious dishes. Each bite was prepared with love from the time of its origin and caused us to overflow with thanksgiving. This was the first time for me to meet these members face-to-face and that made it extra special. What a wonderful day!
    •  I met very wonderful people!
