Follow goats and their herders as they make their once-in-a-lifetime journey from their farm lives in Tibet to their sacrificial deaths in Kathmandu during the annual Dashain festival.
Four years ago, documentary filmmaker Chris G. Parkhurst set out to cover this annual celebration in Nepal. What he came back with is a story of a remarkable country and its unique cultural celebration, told through the eyes of the people and animals that make it all possible.
This evening will be the premiere of this film and will be followed by a short Q&A with Parkhurst, as he shares insights into the experience of filming in a far-off place like Nepal.

I am going to try and do a Let's Go to the Movies meetup every so often. I think it will be a nice change of pace to go to a theater to see a film every once in a while. If you would like to schedule a Let's Go to the Movies meetup click Suggest a New Meetup at the top of the homepage or you can email me a suggestion.
