Enjoy "outside of mainstream" flicks and also the classics of all yesteryears.
I have been out of the movies for ages, seriously, but this flick you posted up for viewing offered up strong bait and hook potential. I do like foreign, off beat and quirky, also love classics from silent and pre-code through hmmmmm contemporary I guess. K I;; reach in and pull out FW Murnau. The first film I saw was Sunrise (which I have on DVD) but I was also uber wowed by The Last Laugh. I have Kurosawa's Ikuru with me on VHS... oh yea freak i used to adore Zhang Yimou fillms brought to life by Gong Li, savored them all but To live was prob a fave. I have Ju Dou on VHS somewhere in deep storage...
Don't know Videodrome.
Art, escapism, and the art of escapism.
Hi Kris notice there are no weekend hikes.I recall you saying that sometimes you go on your own with a few friends on weekends. If you do ,please let me know I would love to join. Have a fun week!
Hi Kris, pls no worries at all and thanks so much for the wonderful rating. The Meetup site can be the strangest thing as I had marked a "good to see you" check earlier, but now it doesn't show. Anyway, it was a pleasure meeting you and hope to see you in the future. Have a fabulous time hiking tomorrow.
Kris, I had some bad news to share, as I am making my final confirmation this morning. Fuijin apologized that they had to cancel our reservations because they are running out of FOOD. Sorry for this inconvenience. If you still want to meet, I can purpose to meet at a new Taiwanese/ Chinese place on NE Halsey and NE 116 th. Just leave me a note on the message board. Thanks. Cheers, Renee

Hi Kris, It’s always nice to meet a fellow Celluloid Lover. By flagrant bs are you referring to the suspension of disbelief?
Feel free to check out the pages tab at the top for more info about the group
I look forward to meeting you on Tuesday.
Haven't seen you for ages - how are you?? Guess you are out for the summer, and hopefully enjoying it.
Remember that I mentioned the Portland-to-Coast (part of Hood-to-Coast), the walking relay?
Our captain just contacted me to see if I knew someone who might be interested in being an alternate in case someone can't make it - would you still be interested??
My regular e-mail is: [masked] or phone: [masked]
Hope to see you soon:-)
