Fateful Findings Midnight Screening

Watch the trailer:

"One part bizarre romance, one part bizarre paranormal movie, one part bizarre government conspiracy film, FATEFUL FINDINGS is like a direct portal into the mind of Breen, who directed the film, produced the film, edited the film, stars in the film and who has a credit both for the story and the screenplay. Dylan (Neil Breen) is a successful novelist and computer guy who rediscovers his forgotten childhood psychic powers after getting hit by a car. While in the hospital he is reconnected with his childhood girlfriend, and their rekindled connection begins to get between Dylan and his current, drug-addled girlfriend. Meanwhile, Dylan starts hacking into every government database and learns terrible secrets about the world. This all leads up to one of the most bravura conclusions in the history of cinema.
This is a movie that operates on no previously known level, that obliterates the very concept of absurdity. It's the ultimate midnight movie for a post-THE ROOM world. It may not be the most polished movie you've ever seen, but goddamn does FATEFUL FINDINGS go for broke, and goddamn is it full of heart and special vision."

Now I have to watch Double Down. I put it in my Netflix queue.

Fateful Findings is like looking into the mind of an avant-garde genius. It's Einstein, day-dreaming about special relativity, or Darwin speculating about the origin of species. This is like listening to Socrates give an exposition about how the only thing we know is that we know nothing. Can we know what this movie is about? What is real? What is art? It's like looking into the face of God that we cannot comprehend. This is the pinnacle of all that a bad movie is capable of being. This is the infinite, the ideal. There can be no other. I am become Neil Breen, the destroyer of movies.

My dreams will be haunted be Neil Breen nip-slips and mysterious space spooge... That was truly a masterpiece

Show starts at 11:30PM, seating opens up at 11PM. Do you guys want to meet in the lobby, in the screening room, or hang out somewhere else before the show?

    March 22, 2014

    • Kedar H.

I don't think I'm going to be downtown too early to hang out. But I'm also down for going somewhere after the show for a while.

Turns out I'm here a little early.

You had me at "THE ROOM." I'm a little late RSVP'ing for this, but I managed to buy a ticket next to the pack. Hopefully my state employee parking sticker will help me get a parking space.

I'm a state employee as well but the closest garage I know of is the one on San Antonio... I think there's one closer to the Ritz but I can't remember where. Anyway, let me know if you know of one

http://www.yelp.com/b... This might be a decent place to park, if what the first reviewer says is still true. Don't forget to bring your ID badge!

FYI, it's supposed to rain this weekend. I hope it isn't too bad...

Anyone know parking secrets for that area? I hate 6th st with a passion but love that Alamo. It's the only reason I would go near that mess

    March 10, 2014

    • Sam

Last night the parking was insane because of SXSW. I had to park at street state parking building at 12th and San Jacinto. It was free even though it advertised hourly rates (up to $8 for the whole night)

Row 23, Seat 6. The picture you linked helped, otherwise there's no way to tell what Row you're in until after you buy the ticket!

These midnight screenings always throw me off. Is it Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun midnight? Thx!

    March 4, 2014

    • Mark

      If it's Sat/Sun I can go.

      March 4, 2014

    • Kedar H.

      I'm pretty sure it's Sat/Sun.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
