How would you describe your taste in and experience with bad movies?

I watched a lot of MST3K in junior high and high school, but even before that I liked to watch schlocky tv shows like The A-Team... I noticed that I was able to genuinely enjoy cheesy action and sci-fi crap and things of low quality in general. In college, our UPN affiliate in Nashville showed old AIP movies late at night, so I was into David A. Prior stuff before other people knew what the fuck I was so excited about. Most of my best memories of time shared with friends involved watching shitty movies. I collect VHS (or used to, it's getting hard to find now) and I have a pretty good collection with some real gems. I've noticed I have a distinct inability to connect with anyone who cannot enjoy bad movies and tv shows on an ironic level (though it's always fun to watch bad stuff with people who don't think it's bad)

What is the most terrible movie you have ever seen, and why?

ALIEN WARRIOR. I don't even know how to explain this movie. It is unexplainable. There are plenty of other unintelligible movies out there but this is the only one of its kind that is consistently funny and entertaining, just, never a dull moment. It doesn't know if it wants to be sci-fi, an after school special or a gang movie, really it feels like two totally different movies spliced together. To summarize as succinctly as possible, the plot involves an alien sent to Los Angeles from another planet to "defeat a Great Evil" and the pimp/cocaine dealer he goes up against. Also, Chicano gangsters

Moved to Austin from Nashville in 2010, currently working for the state of Texas in boring desk job
