Hi everyone, this will be a "Free Screening*" of a documentary, sponsored by "Cinema Politica" for next Friday, Dec 7th. Thanks

(*although their events are usually listed as "free", there is a chance a "pay-what-you-can" donation will be posted at the event; suggest $5.00)

Documentary

Description: The Toronto-Danforth NDP welcomes you to join us for CINEMA POLITICA

Progressive films. Lively discussion. Free.

Basic description:  ... "a film that seeks the causes of the debt crisis afflicting Greece.  First it was Chile, Ecuador and Argentina, then Greece, Spain, Portugal and Italy.  The list goes on.   How can Canada avoid the politics of austerity?"

The film will be followed by a panel discussion.

    A bit hard to follow at times, but main points were well-clarified by the end of the film. Good overview of the history of how some of these national "debt" issues developed!
