I am endlessly curious. I've been a bit frustrated at the high cost of educational programs and workshops, so I started a pop-up school. Now that I've moved to Atlanta, I'm creating a more permanent presence for the school in the O4W/L5P/VaHi area.
I'm going to be teaching small business, marketing, crowdfunding, social media and nonprofit classes. I'd like to learn to code, speak Spanish or French, Yoga, how to make a good cocktail, fashion trends, basic electrical wiring, and sewing, among other things.

Hey Kimberly--
It was nice to meet you last week. Sorry for spilling soda on your cards. It has been a few years since I have had to open a soda bottle. LOL! Please keep me posted on upcoming gatherings. I look forward to participating and possibly collaborating.
Cheers,
-d
Thanks for the greeting Kimberly. I'm staying in Covington until I get my feet on the ground, so it may take a little while for me to come out. FYI, Most people confuse the spelling of my name with the jewelry store, but I'm not that sparkly, so it's spelled with an "i" instead of "y". :-) Look forward to meeting you too!
Thanks for the invite! This will be our first maker faire and my family and I are very excited about it! I need to update my pic, my children are 10 and 3 now.
Thanks for the greeting! I'd really love to learn electronics. Anybody you can point me to for some assistance on that?
It is 6 foot long and needs a lake to be able to turn around! :)
k - Thank you - I would enjoy bringing my submarine! I am looking forward to the events and meeting others,
Rick
Kimberly, welcome to ATL. I design industrial control and factory automation systems.
Thanks for the greeting! Unfortunately didn't exercise any green thumbs this year as we were busy putting skills to remodel of a house to move into. However, I do look forward to next Spring as we love lots of herbs in our cooking and save a ton growing basil, thyme, rosemary, sage, oregano and such... While not always as cost effective, we also grow tomatoes, peppers, carrots, and cucumbers...
I really can't wait to have a few chickens and their fresh eggs though!
