Hey folks, had a wonderful time. Lots of pruning and spreading wood chips. Many friendly people. Nice meeting you Lois. Hope to see you there again.

It was a wonderful meetup. I helped out pruning and cutting branches smaller to prepare them for the composting bin. Awesome people, friendly and generous with sharing information and tips. I left feeling great helping out a local community garden and meeting very nice people with whom I exchanged contact information....

Does anyone know what subway is near there?

Regina for the Bronx meetup it is the 1 train to 231st street. When you get off the subway you walk along Broadway to 230th street . On the corner you see a Dunking Donuts...make a right and keep on walking about 3 blocks then make a left

i wish i could make this one, but i'll be in PA ( doing another pruning class actually!) . my garden is in DIRE need of pruning.
i'm not that experienced at it. if there are any experienced pruning folks (or 1 who would teach the rest of us hands-on) i'd be more than happy to share the cuttings for rooting, or other items!
    (heirloom seeds,kombucha,homemade compost,soil-blocks, red-worms/castings,reclaimed wood,bamboo etc) things i need to prune:
seedless grape(heavily!), Hardy Kiwi (male and female, heavily!) Goji/Wolfberry (heavy) , Hazelnut, manchurian apricot, crabapple,

i've got loppers, pruning saws, pruning snips fro the job.
i'm a 40minute lirr train from PENN. . here is our garden page. baldwin organic garden-share
