Bronx Urban Farms Trolley Tour: The Youth Tour August tickets are half price!

  • August 3, 2013 · 10:00 AM

Ray Figueroa and youth gardeners from Brook Park will take us on a tour of the Bronx, as seen through the eyes of our next generation. Participants will dig right in and garden at New York Restoration Project’s Target Bronx Community Garden. We will visit the Children’s Garden at Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum, a National Landmark located in Pelham Bay Park. At the year-old Children’s Garden, they use historically based methods like composting and companion planting. Our final stop is Brook Park, where youth and families garden and a wealth of arts and indigenous cultural events take place. Lunch is included.
To register or for more information, email [masked] or call 718.817.8026. Tickets are $15 and the proceeds go directly to support the community gardens you visit. Children 12 and under ride for free. Trolley leaves from and returns to 810 7th Avenue in Manhattan, leaving promptly at 10:00 a.m.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
