Preserving the Harvest: Canning and Pickling with the (faux)H

You worked hard all spring and summer, tilling, sowing, weeding and pruning. Now is the time to reap what you sow before it goes to seed. In this workshop we will cover basic ways to preserve what you’ve grown in the garden for the long winter ahead focusing on canning, pickling, and freezing.

This is a FREE workshop held at New York's oldest house, the Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum in Flatbush, Brooklyn.

Join artist, Lisa Sikorski on a journey of learning about the slow process of making by hand and from the earth. Workshops are suitable for participants ages 13 and up.
