Feedback Farms Low Tunnel Workshop, Garlic Planting, and Potluck

Come out to a Harvest Potluck, Garlic Planting and Low Tunnel workshop with Feedback Farms at Myrtle Village Green, Bed Stuy at 636 Myrtle Avenue, October 27th, 2013, 1pm-4pm.

Low tunnels are a cost effective and simple season extension technique, you still have time to extend the season and keep sensitive crops alive ( assuming we have not had a frost bySunday!).

Learn to build low cost, low tunnels for raised beds at our production farm in the Myrtle Village Green Garden.

We'll also be planting out garlic, so you can learns the ins and outs of our favorite Allium.

Bring something for the potluck if you can, but the event is free.

Michael Meehan formerly of the UVM farmer training program and Clare Sullivan of Columbia University's Agriculture and Food Security Center will be leading the workshop.
