Introduction

I'm a person passionate about urban farming and food justice. I currently manage Greenmarkets in Brooklyn and work on the Hell's Kitchen Farm Project, a rooftop farm project in Manhattan working towards a food secure neighborhood.

What neighborhood in NYC do you farm or want to farm?

Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan, though I'm interested in things going on in Northern Brooklyn as well.

Where do you grow food or want to grow food (i.e. community garden, back or front yard, window sill, rooftop farm, etc)?

All types and all ways! But currently working on rooftop farming.

A farm located on the roof of a church in Hell's Kitchen using kiddie pools as containers with all produce being donated to two local food pantries.
