Where to buy good soil with reasonable price for a 6' by 8' and 12" deep raised bed on roof-deck?

I am going to build a raised bed on my roof-deck. 6' * 8', and about 12" deep. I am not sure how much soil I will need and where I can buy good soil with reasonable price, will be best if they do delivery. It is elevator building. Thanks for your advice in advance!

There's a free soil website, and a few soil vendors, one or two on Long Island, and some in NJ, google them. I got my soil donated last year by local gardeners, lead is higher than ideal, but the pH is high. I found the soil on Craigslist.

Peat moss is a way to go if it's on a rooftop, with compost. The permaculturists have a formula, look at the NYC permaculture meetup.
