CHILI COOKOFF, GAMES & WHITE ELEPHANT SALE FUNDRAISER! Please RSVP and *!

COST: $6.00.
Enjoy delicious hot chili on a chilly evening; play games, win prizes and buy/sell a White Elephant item!!

Taste and vote on your favorite member-prepared chili; prizes awarded for the top 3 winning chilis!
We need volunteers to make their favorite recipe and bring a pot full that will feed about 10. Range from 5-alarm spicy, to tangy mild or to a unique flavor; then bring and share! * Please CONTACT Rhonda or COMMENT on the Discussion link at the top of the home page to let us know if you will bring chili.

Others attending are asked to provide extras to add to the chili such as chopped onions, shredded cheese, Fritos, crackers or sour cream, etc. We will need 2-liters of soda and some desserts too.

Also, there will be some exciting interactive games we will play-have fun and maybe win a prize!

Next is the White Elephant Sale: Donate that item you no longer want or need (old or new!), in good condition that you are willing to part with! Goods will be auctioned to the highest bidder-{you might find a treasure}! Bring to the Chili cookoff that night or give to Candice, Rhonda or Debbie at a Meetup before.

This is a fundraiser for Citywide Singles to cover expenses, obligations and Meetup fees. Thanks for your support-all members are welcome, but PLEASE RSVP-ASAP!!!

Thanks to everyone! We had great chili, desserts, auction items, and fantastic people. Thanks to Rhonda and Debbie for all the behind the scenes stuff, to Larry for conducting the auction, to Allen, Kim and Randy for being "go to" guys, and to everyone who cooked, set up, cleaned up and showed up. This group is amazing!

My first chili cookoff was a lovely surprise. No chili was too spicy and all were delicious. I got 4 really nice CDs, too, for a really low price. I also enjoyed getting to converse with new and delightful members.

Hi! The response for bringing chili is great-we have 8 people making and bringing their special recipe! As we have limited available outlets, that is enough contestants...but, we can still use Fritos, sour cream, diced peppers, maybe a salad; and 2 liters of soda, desserts (water is provided). Of course, bring the White Elephant auction donations. Thanks and looking forward to seeing everyone!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
