Caring & Sharing Project - Convoy of Hope Needs 9 Volunteers - Please RSVP!!

This will be our very FIRST CARING AND SHARING PROJECT!

Volunteerism has surprising benefits - not only in helping others, but in helping ourselves!

  • connects us to others
  • allows us to make new friends and contacts
  • increases our social and relationship skills
  • increases self-confidence
  • combats depression
  • improves our health by providing fun and fulfillment to our lives

All of this while helping our community!

We have selected Convoy of Hope because it provides help to people in the United States and around the world through children's feeding initiatives, community outreach, disaster response and partner resourcing.  We will be working with other agencies on future volunteer events - feel free to suggest one.

Roll up your sleeves and join us at Convoy of Hope for their Hands of Hope Project!

Volunteers of all ages and skill levels can help with sorting, packing, counting, labeling and inventory.

So much fun and so organized. We got a lot of work done in such a short amount of time.

Sorry if this posts twice -- I am challenged by my phone! Meeting at 6:10 sounds perfect! See you there!

I was wondering if some of us on south side could carpool? Also, is there any concern regarding attire -- will we be painting or getting super dirty?

Dress comfortably. We will not be getting dirty. Usually we are putting together bags of groceries for the outreaches or special needs areas.

I live in Nixa and would carpool. I can be at Price Cutter at 6:10. I drive a blue beat up Ford Ranger.

I drive an older white Nissan Altima. Do you think if I am there at 6:10 that will give us enough time? I can meet you close to gas pumps and McDonalds?

I am excited about any opportunity to volunteer. I would be open to volunteering once or twice a week! I love helping others because it is a reminder of how small my problems are!

Hi Joan - Being on the Wait List means that the meetup is full. If someone cancels, you will be given the first option of filling their spot. This one filled up fast! I am sending a private email to you, so please watch for it!

Does being on the Wait List mean I can attend until I hear from you?

What a great response in such a short time! I always knew this groups was full of generous, giving people with big hearts - and here is proof. Only one spot left. If you miss out, there will be more Caring and Sharing projects to follow!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
