Without doubt, my own...Nuclear Warrior. When you hear this, it automatically brings all other music into question. There's nothing in the universe like Nuclear Warrior. In fact, I need people to try and cover the piece. I always say, we'll make worldwide headlines!
I'd have to say The Beatles on August 28th, 1964. However I've got more fame for California Jam. California Jam was the 7th largest city in California for a day. I'm noted as the only one who taped the BROADCAST off the radio. Thus the SOUNDTRACK sounds just like the broadcast! It's uncany and a beautiful listen. In fact, once you start grooving on it, it'll probably become your way of life!
That's a good question. Being I practically grew up in Forest Hills Tennis Stadium where, for instance I saw The Beatles perform live on August 28th, 1964 along with lots of Woodstock alumni like Janis (on my thirteenth birthday in fact) Jimi, and the Doors and the Mamas & The Papas et al it's hard to nail down who I missed most. One that comes to mind is Black Sabbath though.
I did a concert bigger than Woodstock in 1974 called California Jam. I'm the only one who shot film inside the most important outdoor music arena in NY history, the Forest Hills Tennis Stadium. I'm from Nuclear Warrior-the most awesome band on Earth!
