Our group, open to music lovers and the general public, meets at 1 pm on the third Wednesday of each month at the University Club of Winter Park, corner of Webster and Park Ave. Meetup Members gather at 12:30 at our 'table.'  After enjoying wine, coffee, tea, and hor d'oeuvres, relax for an Informative music presentation with live performances featuring world-class musicians.

Renowned Musicians

Mati Braun andGary Wolf

Will Perform Top Sonatas

Join us at the University Club's Classical Music meeting & enjoy violinist Mati Braun and pianist Gary Wolf performing sonatas by Schubert, Brahms, and Cesar Frank.

Mati, who was the leading violinist with the New York Philharmonic for 36 years, will play violin and viola. Gary, UCF music professor emeritus, is artist-in-residence in the Rollins College Music Department. Both have performed internationally and they received standing ovations at their earlier University Club programs.

Mati's latest CD was described by BBC Music Magazine reviewer Howard Goldstein as “veritable master classes in both violin and viola, and one of the most memorable collections of string playing I've ever heard."

Dr Wolf has performed more than a thousand local, national and international recitals. He conducts workshops, master classes, and has taught many award-winning students. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Eastman School of Music.

The music was outstanding, the food and the wine added to the enjoyment. Meeting new people and seeing the regulars is always great.
