Florida Lakes Symphony Maestro Michael Garasi

Will Dramatically Present The Art of Conducting

How do you get scores of orchestra musicians to do what you want? To find out how, come join us at the University Club of Winter Park's Classical Music meeting on Wednesday, January 16, featuring Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra Conductor Michael Garasi. His presentation From Two Sticks to One will include a colorful and informative program with audiovisuals on the art of conducting a large symphony orchestra.

Garasi is celebrating his seventh season as the orchestra's Music Director and Conductor,
and his first as Principal Conductor of the newly formed New Score Chamber Orchestra, which performs music of living composers. Michael has served as Maestro for the Treasure Coast Symphony and the Broward Symphony, and has guest conducted the Orlando Philharmonic. He annually conducts the Epcot Candlelight Processional Orchestra and the 200-voice choir at Walt Disney World, and has led the Brass Band of Central Florida.

We hope you can be with us for this interesting program at our Club

 Regards,

Joe Rizzo and George Gascon,

Classical Music Group Co-Chairs,
