"Dear Karen,

As we all know, there is nothing like the experience of attending a live orchestral performance. The sights, the sounds and the collaboration between the conductor and the musicians create an experience that can bring together a community.

To make world-renowned orchestral performances accessible to classical music enthusiasts nationwide, the Los Angeles Philharmonic (LA Phil), NCM Fathom, and Cineplex Entertainment are bringing back - for a second season - the popular, in-theatre program "LA Phil LIVE."

LA Phil LIVE’s second season will bring you three specially selected performances: Dudamel Conducts Mendelssohn (October 9), featuring Dutch violin virtuoso Janine Jansen; Dudamel Conducts Mahler 8, “Symphony of a Thousand” (February 18), live from Caracas, Venezuela with both the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela; and an exciting broadcast in spring 2012, to be announced.

We think your group members will enjoy attending these events as they bring the performances of the world-famous LA Philharmonic to your local movie theater.

More information is available at www.LAPhilLIVE.com. Also available on this site is additional information about the series including theatre locations and a link to purchase tickets.

Tickets are on sale now. For more information about "LA Phil LIVE" or to purchase tickets, visit www.fathomevents.com.

Thank you for your support,

Sara – on behalf of "LA Phil LIVE"

FYI:

In-theater audiences will experience up-close and dramatic views of Dudamel and the orchestra in action, captured with multiple HD cameras and in thrilling 5.1 surround sound. The broadcast will transport audiences behind the music for an exclusive “backstage pass” look at the LA Phil – including interviews with Dudamel, world-renowned guest soloists, and the Orchestra's musicians.  Contact one of the theaters below to get information for additional dates and prices of tickets:
