Hatsurei-ho is a traditional Japanese Reiki technique which, when practiced regularly, increases the practitioner's perception of the Reiki energy. The name "Hatsurei-ho" means "method of generating spirit" and the technique is usually taught in the Okuden (Reiki II) level of traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho.
This event is open to Reiki practitioners of any lineage and level of training, as well as those who are curious, without any experience. Hatsurei-ho can be practiced by everyone regardless of Reiki experience.
The doors will open at 6:30pm. Jotaro will be there to offer instruction to those who are not familiar with how to perform Hatsurei-ho, followed by a short social time for questions. The group will then sit for 30 minutes of quiet (non-guided) meditation. After the meditation session, Jotaro will offer reiju, a traditional Reiki ritual that helps support practitioners as they progress in their practice. The receiving of reiju is optional and if you are uncomfortable with it you do not have to participate.
There is a fee of $5 to attend this event to help pay for the space where we will be meeting.
