    Great Discussion. Thanks, Uriah, for your comment and link--I got a lot out of that. I think we can't assume that Sartre knew nothing about Eastern philosophy and religion when he wrote Nausea--he had a philosophy degree and he was very eclectic in his reading. He felt that philosophy encompassed all the other disciplines.
