23rd ANNUAL TEXAS BEACH CLEANUP

A KID-FRIENDLY EVENT. Event will be held rain or shine. Meet at parking lot of Wesley Center of Clear Lake United Methodist Church (see sponsor photo) at the corner of Seafoam Rd. and Buccaneer Ln. one block east of the Clear Lake Kroger store at 8:00 A.M. to arrange carpools to the location. If you wish to meet us onsite, meet under the Seabrook (Harris County) side of the S.H. 146 bridge over Clear Creek at 8:30 A.M. Although the General Land Office calls this a beach cleanup, four of the sites in this area are on inland bayous/waterways. I chose the Seabrook location because it's within sight of the Kemah Boardwalk and most everyone knows where that is. Gloves and water will be provided. Wear old clothes and shoes (rubber boots if you have them), sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. My calendar shows the Kemah Jazz Festival the same weekend. Bring a change of clothes if you wish to eat lunch afterwards and attend the festival.
