I wanted to create a meetup group that does wine tastings, painting with a twist outings, paddle-boarding, hiking/walking, going to the beach, going to parks, running, girls night in, pool days, brunches, dinners out, and some outdoor fun activities! This meetup is for ladies only in their 20s and 30s and it doesn't matter if you're single or taken (we'll do some couples events one in a while)! Most events will be in Clearwater/Largo/Clearwater Beach area, but occasionally we may do things in Tampa, St. Pete, or another surrounding area so the group is only for girls in the Clearwater area or willing to travel there for the events.
Each member will be responsible for paying a $5 due annually, either through Meetup.com, PayPal or in person, to the organizer. These dues will be used to cover meetup membership expenses. $5 is a small investment for making lifelong friends! Members who do not pay dues will be removed from the group. If you would like to pay via paypal or in person, please contact the organizer.
The majority of events are for Ladies only. We will have significant other and kid friendly events from time to time. If significant others or children are welcome to events, this will be noted in the event description. If there is no note, please ask the event host. We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy themselves!
With this in mind, we have an attendance policy. Please respect this to ensure a great time for all!
*Respect and consideration for others are Top Priority; be considerate by refraining from being a "NO SHOW" (Not showing up and leaving your RSVP a "yes", or changing RSVP to a "no" within 2 hours of an event and not communicating with the organizer) or a "LATE CANCEL" (Cancelling out of an event within 2 hrs of the event). If you need to cancel late, please communicate with the organizer.
*Events take work for organizers to coordinate, especially those requiring RSVP's with the event location. Make sure you are able to make it to an event to which you RSVP and if you anticipate a conflict or being late, give us a heads up. We understand that things come up and life interferes, but please do your best. ;)
*If you find that you can't make it to something you've signed up for -- CHANGE YOUR RSVP as soon as possible, or call/text/message an organizer/event host if it is within 2 hours of the event. Events take time & energy to plan. If you don't show up AND make no effort to let the Event Planner know what happened --- that's a "NO SHOW".
*No Show/Late Cancel policy: If you have a history of doing this (we keep track of attendance on your profile), we won't be able to count on you to show up when you say you are going to. Out of respect and courtesy to others that DO show up, we may bump you to the waiting list for meetups with limited space in favor of those with a positive attendance history. If you make a habit out of no showing or late cancelling, we may remove you from the group.
