Having fun and protecting the planet!

We are a volunteer based environmental education and advocacy group. We run the Clearwater Festival at Asbury Park, New Jersey's largest environmentally themed festival. Other ongoing activities include: the Traveling Clearwater Environmental Festival an education program run in schools, as well as operate a boat. Our membership is "hands-on", there are no full-time staff members, we make our own decisions and have fun while saving the world. We get much of our inspiration from folk singer Pete Seeger and the work of Hudson River Sloop Clearwater.
