Distro roundtable and social

  • December 12, 2012 · 7:00 PM

I've noticed that there are a variety of different users and i personally like getting different views and perspectives. I think maybe a roundtable format where people can introduce themselves and say what they are currently using, what distros have they tried, etc., would be cool. This could be very informal and casual.

Update:[masked]:00 EST

I guess we should try to do this before the end of the year holidays/apocalypse.

Becky's has a pretty good selection of food and drink and they're open late.  They also have a good sized private parking lot.

Please update RSVPs.

Some possible stuff to discuss: systemd, Gnome 3, ARM64, Valve Steam gaming, ...

Hopefully we can try to have more regular meetings. I misremembered about RFC specifying a maximum URI length. There is a limit of 255 characters for hostname portion (if applicable), IE has a max if 2083 characters (weird number), and in general most things flake out at over 2048 chars.
