Linux-based EOS inside Arista switches

  • Needs a date

  • Needs a location

  • Up and coming switch vendor Arista actually runs a full-fledged Linux distro on their switches to manage and control the silicon. The vendor is willing to come in and show how this can be leveraged in all kinds of novel ways to dynamically re-configure the switch

Paul, can you contact the vendor and find out if/when they'd be available in late September/early October? Thanks.

Karl said he can accommodate our schedule in that time frame. He'll have a demo switch and an engineer to present. This would be the first vendor presentation then right?

Correct, this would be the first vendor presentation. I'll find a venue and then send you the date. Thanks for getting in touch with him!
