Wondering if there are folks that back out, is there a line on who is the 1st or 2nd alternates on the waitlist or is it who just shows up? Only reason why I'm asking is that I work on this side of town but live on the opposite. If I know I can get in ill stick around this side of town but if it is a long shot i could use the rest... Haha

As Linda said, you are in. Normally, it would go by who is present at start of tournament and position on existing wait list. If you are top 2-4 on list there is rarely a tournament where you wouldn't play (and likely even start with a seat)

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
