No wet exit unless I go swimming off the hobie.
Not sure if I fit in with this group but just want to find people to kayak with. I have been on Lake Erie in big storms. Big waves big wind. Never white water kayaked.
Have a wet suit have a dry top. Do have a spray skirt for the old town. Inflatable life vest. Throw rope the flag the paddle float whistle and pump. Even have a flare gun from my sail boat if need be. Hand held radio. Never had to use any of the stuff hope I dont. Played wit the paddle float just to make sure I could get back in the Old Town if I ever fell out.
Just played out in front of Cleaveland with the old Town. Fished. Did 6 miles once at Charles Mill lake. The Hobie has a sail. Cheating I know. Sailed it from 252 past the stadium and back a few times. Headed to the Keys with the Hobie end of march. Sailed. The Portage lakes a few times. Kayaked little Traverse Bay Mich. Love the water love the kayaks and sail boats. 26 foot McGregor. Don't know what else to tell you.
Looks like me. Not the best looking guy but it's me.
Have been canoeing all my life. About 7 years ago I got a 10 kayak. Just fished and played in the lakes. 3 years ago I bought a Hobie Adventure Island. It's a sit on top so no spray skirt. But love it.
