Tell us about yourself and your sea paddling experience including wet exit experience with a sea skirt.

I enjoy most outdoors sports including casual running, cycling, skiing, and kayaking. I own a 16.5' Eddyline Fathom which I have paddled extensively this year. My experience includes Maine Island overnight kayak camping, Bar Harbor area kayaking trip, 3 day Everglades kayak/overnight camping trip, 18 mile End To End Lake Chautauqua Challenge, 15 mile excursions on Lake Erie with 2 foot chop. I have taken several classes though 41 North learning wet exits, assisted re-entry and unassisted re-entry.

While we welcome beginner kayakers and want to encourage those seeking sea kayaking learning events and experiences are you OK with being being excluded from events (for safety) based on your beginner status?

Describe your sea kayaing gear including whether you have access to a boat. Include PFD, spray skirt, wet suit and any other gear you will bring and use for outings.

I own a 16.5' Eddyline Fathom complete with all safety gear and self rescue gear and proper knowledge to use of that gear. Gear list includes kayak, carbon paddle Astrul PFD, neoprene spray skirt, cockpit pump, paddle float, rescue throw line, navigation light, and compass. I usually have all my gear with me for all paddles

Have you paddled on Lake Erie? If so, where and how far? There is no wrong answer to this question.

Have paddled on Lake Erie approx. 15 times this spring and summer. Longest distance has been 15 miles in moderate chop with some white caps

Is your profile picture an identifiable head shot of YOU and ONLY you? If not, you will be declined.

Started kayaking consistently in 2013, though I have been paddling canoes for 20 yrs and kayaks occasionally. Bought my first kayak in April 2013. Building my skillset through weekly paddles.
