Web SIG Cleveland - Current Developments in CSS

  • Nov 17, 2012 · 10:30 AM
  • Notre Dame College

There is a lot of activity happening in CSS right now. Not only are several popular aspects of CSS evolving, but major new ideas are being proposed and, in some cases, already implemented. Eric A. Meyer will lead us in taking a look at the most popular and pressing modules, how they’ll affect what you do, and, most importantly, how you can help shape their evolution.

Eric A. Meyer (; @MeyerWeb) has been working with the web since late 1993 and is an internationally recognized expert on the subjects of HTML, CSS, and web standards. Along the way he wasCWRU's first campus webmaster, wrote several books on CSS including O'Reilly's "CSS: The Definitive Guide", hosted a weekly radio show on WRUW-FM, co-founded the microformats movement and An Event Apart, and was inducted into the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. He lives in Cleveland Heights with his wife and three children.
