As a graduate of KSU with dual degrees in Library and Information Science, and in Information Architecture and Knowledge Management, I can hold forth on this topic for those of you who require more information.? I took "Economics of Information" and wrote my paper on the economics of college textbooks.? I can expound on the pressures in the publishing industry, the many tiers system of pricing for overseas markets, the "long tail" theory and how it applies to Amazon.com and this situation.?
'
...or I can tell you where to find the book at a good price.?
...you pays your monies and you takes your choice.
?
...but you are wandering perilously close to the point where I start to charge for my professional services.
?
...and I ain't cheap.

Mz. Linda,

Do you mind if I post this to the forum for future reference for everyone? I would post it directly in the main description of the course.
