Pam,

It will be for folks that have no experience at all with HTML. Though i have a progression of classes that people with no experience should follow. Look for that email today.

Aoirthoir,
I would like to take the course. It is for beginners, correct? I'd prefer January. Where is it held?
Many thanks,
Pam Adams

Howdy Yens!

The current HTML/CSS course is nearly at an end. I will be giving the bonus lessons to those who have helped with the expenses through their donations. Thanks yall! Now that the course is near its end, I am going to be starting a new course soon.

Please bear in mind that right now I have a LOT going on:
--------------------------------
Day job stuff (LOTS of it)

the396.com The central location for my classes, business, free and open source software projects I am running and more. It's soon to be up, we're still working on the design and coding

add1tocobol.com One of the free and open source software projects that I lead.

Krudh - Kreate Read Update Delete HOORAY! Library for PHP.

Co-working, I provide a free space at my office seven days a week for anyone that wants to stop by and enjoy the benefits of a collaborative workspace.

A couple of clients and some projects of our own at the396, (which will be announced once they are ready for public consumption.)

A couple of non-profit sites I have to entirely revamp (including clevelandpaganpride.org).

Csstivus.com and HTMLurnalia, a couple of sites about CSS3/HTML5 and a rip roarin' partay on December 18th in the spirit of festivus. (And it jez happens to by on my B-day by some incredible coinky dink!). Jim Stamper's band will be playing and Michael Mirth will be performing his Magic!

Which of course means that important sites like aoirthoir.com and poomunity.com are put on the back burner, in the closet, under a pile of clothes, for another few months :D
-------------------------------
Alright now that the self-serving advertising is done I'll get to the point of why I mention all of that. Running the next course is going to take some real finessing on my part. In order to make it worth it, I need to know that I'll have students attending. So I need to know a few things:

1. Who wants to attend the next HTML/CSS course? (Actually it will be HTML5/CSS3).
2. How many of yens want to start in December, and how many would prefer to start in January?
3. How many want to go to the Pub after class?

So if you are interested please reply to this email, and that will help me know who wants to attend and how many. Classes for HTML5/CSS3 will held on Sundays.

Additionally I will be running an interactive PHP/Mysql course. This course won't be using the Head First book as we've found it doesn't meet our needs. Rather, anyone that joins that class will be getting hands on time helping to create a Free and Open Source web library (Krudh mentioned earlier). I will be breaking down the code we've already created, explain the rational for what we've done, and teaching you how to modify the library to meet your own needs.

So if anyone is interested in this please let me know. The dates and times for this class/project are not set.

Also feel free to call me at 440.941.3396.

Kind Regards,
Aoirthoir
