Mr. Brad,

I think based on the response so far response so far, most will agree with that. I already talked to meetup.com staff..they have phone support! I kid you not. I called it and did not expect anything but voice mail, but they picked up right away. That had me so flabbergasted I didn't know exactly what to say.

Anyhow they led me through the process I would need to close one group and keep the other opened. Right now they dont have a way to combine the groups. So I wont be able to bring the polls over from the 450 group. I think keeping the 396 group open would be best since it is older.

Thanks Kindly and best regards,
Joseph James Frantz

Joe, your doing an awesome job here and your work is appreciated by a lot of people.
With that said I'm going to try and sway the vote. I had the chance to chat with some people last night at the Web Association event about our meetup and how to kick start it and keep it going.  One thing that kept coming up was how hard it is to keep a group going and fresh over a long period of time.  I think it would be best to have one group with a wide spectrum of interests instead of two with narrower focuses. This way we can learn from a lager pool of talent and different disciplines. There would also be less confusion for new people looking for a group to join.

Dear /450 meetup members,

I've gone ahead and set up a poll to find out your opinions. How many of you would prefer to maintain a separate group, and how many would desire to combine both groups into one. Your opinions will play a key part in what we do from here. So if you have time please fill out the poll at this link:

Thanks kindly and best regards,
