NEOUPA Presents the Cleveland Web Standards Association: Standards Demystified

Designing and building with standards lowers costs of development, while delivering sites that are accessible to more people and more devices. So what exactly are they and why do you need them? These questions and more answered by a panel of some of Cleveland's leading web designers.

When: Wednesday May 14th, 6:30PM
Where: Progressive Insurance Campus 1 (Mayfield Heights)

NEOUPA (North East Ohio Usability Professionals Association) asked some CWSA members to participate. Sitting on the panel will be myself, Bridget Stewart, Brad Colbow, Brad Dielman, Brendan Cullen and Julie Cousins. All are welcome to come and contribute to the discussion.

Be aware that NEOUPA events cost a nominal fee for non-members. (There is a student rate.) They ask that you register in advance on their site ( so they can plan pizza accordingly. More event details (including an address) can be found there within the next couple days.

In addition to being a wonderful opportunity to ask questions you have about standards, this is a chance for our groups to co-mingle, and for some of us West Siders to meet web professionals from the East Side.
