Hi Chris! (and everyone else!)

We went through about four weeks of semi-workshop mode with the study groups. Yesterday we tested dividing up into teams of 2 and 3 to work on the same design. This gave me time to dedicate to someone that was unable to attend the original meetings... The experience was very productive, so we will probably be moving to the following format:

Our study groups will meet on Monday at Designing Interactive (until they kick us out). We're recommending that folks bring an idea they have for a site they actually want to get off the ground. So then we will be splitting up into groups. Some groups might decide to use a standard use case and try to implement it. Those that have a site in mind, and have willing hands, can work together in teams to learn live. Those that know enough one way or another, in any of the related topics, can offer help to various study group teams.

As it looks, I am probably going to start another group, at the coffee house on Fridays. The exact day will be determined by the level of interest and the number of votes for a specific day (just reply to let us know what any of yall prefer).

Many kind Regards,
Joseph James Frantz

Howdy Yall!

This is just a brief reminder that our workshop will be tonight at 6:30pm. Since most of us will miss dinner, we will be potentially ordering pizza. Anyone that would like some would need to bring a couple bucks contribution to the pizza fund. (If any cannot afford, please let me know we'll swing it for ya somehow).

Look forward to seeing yall then!
