Stuart,

I'm not entirely sure if this is the problem, but look closer at the event field. It looks like it has a single quote instead of the back tick. Hope that will fix the issue.

I hope you are feeling better today.

Trying to create the additional tables, but not working yet.  I have two questions:

1) I am able to get FTP access to tastala.com and see the /students/stuart folder, but not sure where should uploading the .sql file (named: giftregistry.sql) so that can run "mysql>source giftregistry.sql"

2) Since I was not able to upload the .sql file, I tried creating the new table at the command prompt.  After entering the following sql statement a table was not created.  Where is my error?

mysql> CREATE TABLE `stuart_recipients` (

-> `id` INT(11) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT,

-> `id_recipient` INT(11) NOT NULL,

-> `first_name` VARCHAR(30) NOT NULL,

-> `last_name` VARCHAR(30) NOT NULL,

-> 'event` VARCHAR(50) NOT NULL,

'> `eventDateTime` DATETIME NOT NULL,

'> PRIMARY KEY (`id`),

'> KEY `name` (`last_name`,`first_name`)

'> ) ENGINE=myisam DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8;

I also tried to do it a second time, and still not work:

mysql> CREATE TABLE `stuart_recipients` (
    -> `id` INT(11) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT,
    -> `id_recipient` INT(11) NOT NULL,
    -> `first_name` VARCHAR(30) NOT NULL,
    -> `last_name` VARCHAR(30) NOT NULL,
    -> 'event` VARCHAR(50) NOT NULL,
    '> `eventDateTime` DATETIME NOT NULL,
    '> PRIMARY KEY (`id`))
    '> ENGINE=myisam;

Here is the "Show tables" after tried to create table (no stuart_recipients):

mysql> show tables;

Looks like Chris (chris_recipients) and Stone (stone_recipients) were successful.

I might play around some more later. Thanks for your assistance.
