Re: [webdesign-396] First Post: Drupal vs. Joomla?

Drupal has a terribly steep learning curve but once you wrap your head around it you can do anything.... literally. http://webjackalope.com/16-different-clones-you-can-build-with-drupal/

If you search for Joomla vs. Drupal in google you will be overwhelmed with opinion and commentary. For me, after looking at the direction of the community for both platforms, I chose Drupal. I have not regretted that decision.

My opinion is that Joomla has an easier learning curve to begin with. Drupal is awesome! Joomla is good if you have a smaller site. Drupal is constantly growing and the modules are up to 3000. Writing code for Drupal modules isn't too bad. I don't know about Joomla.

Hey guys, I have been following this list for a while, but this is my first
post. I have a question, what are your thoughts on Drupal vs. Joomla for a
CMS/Framework? Is it worth taking some time to learn both?

Which do you like better and why?

Thanks
