OOPS! I forgot all about Easter coming up. I will leave them posted in case folks RSVP YES then I will go ahead and give them. But if no one RSVPS yes, then obviously I will suspend it on[masked] for Easter.  See, that is what being a Bachelor does, you forget about the standard Holy Days.

Thanks for the kind words and offer. I will keep you posted if more people need seating. I can always add a session earlier or later in the day or at a different time in the week.

Kind Regards
Aoirthoir The Forgetful

Aoirthoir:

Thanks for making the three workshop/study groups happen, starting on March 28th.  I just RSVP'd to attend all three on 3/28, but can't attend on Easter 4/4.

If you have too many attending the HTML/CSS workshop at 11:00, please let me know and I will let someone else have my seat.

If you need assistance with setting up, or anything else, please let me know.  I can come at 10:00 a.m. to help.

At today's Web Development SIG meeting, I did announce the classes, and will also mention via Twitter.

Announcing a new Meetup for Cleveland Web Design and Development Meetup!

What: HTML/CSS Coding Workshop and Study Group

When: Sunday, March 28,[masked]:00 AM

Where:
Aoirthoir's Place
21139 Lorain Road Suite 11
Fairview Park, OH 44126
[masked]

Learn more here:
http://www.meetup.com/Cleveland-Web-Design-and-Development-Meetup/calendar/wfcgnynfblc/

The Basics:

Every week on Sunday at 11am we'll be meeting for two hours. We'll start with the basics and keep adding more topics related to HTML and CSS coding so that participants can learn from ground zero.

What will you learn?: How to create webpages, how to find and use a host, some basics like FTP or SCP (two forms of file transfer), how to acquire your own domain name, how to write clean, easy to read HTML and CSS and much much more!

Requirements: You MUST know how to use the web already, how to surf, read your email and other such basics tasks. This is not a "what is the web" study group. Remember to bring your own laptop.

Requests: Right now I have no furniture, so if you are able please bring a chair for yourself and others if you have extras. If you intend to come please RSVP Yes. Maybe RSVPs are denied due to limited seating. If you RSVP maybe, that might eliminate someone from coming that absolutely would come. If you RSVP yes please make sure you make it. If many yes RSVPs are no shows and result in others being denied access, I'll need to limit access to future workshops.

Costs: None. This is an entirely free series. Donations to help with the rent (230/month) and internet access(starting at about 40/month and eventually as I increase speed up to 100/month) are gratefully accepted but are absolutely NOT required.

Where: 21139 Lorain Road Suite 11, Fairview Park, Ohio 44126

Who: Aoirthoir[masked] [address removed]

Finally: I'll be arriving at 10am for those that need a little extra help with other issues.
