New Meetup: Web Development SIG - Improving the Design of Your Sites

Stuart O. Smith, J...
user 6905935
Cleveland, OH
Announcing a new Meetup for Cleveland Web Design and Development Meetup!

What: Web Development SIG - Improving the Design of Your Sites

When: Saturday, October 23, 2010 10:30 AM

Where: Notre Dame College
Room 30 (Basement Level - Administration Building) 4545 College Road
South Euclid, OH 44121

Brad Colbow will walk you through the fundamentals of visual design and show some examples of how to put them to work on your site. This will be an interactive presentation, so if you have any sites that you have worked on that you would like critiqued, have the URLs ready. It would be best if you email Stuart Smith with the URLs before the meeting.

Brad Colbow is a web designer in the Cleveland area, best known for his comic strip The Brads that can be found in .Net magazine and his blog. He is currently the art director at Sideways, a local startup that’s working on a mobile publishing platform for the iPad, iPhone, and other tablet devices.

With all the growth at Notre Dame College I want to be sure new attendees know to go to the ground level of the main Administration Building. While you enter the campus at Regina Hall (the former Regina High School, 1857 South Green Road), please keep going to the Administration Building (large Gothic-style building) and enter the lower level.
