ClevelandGives and senior citizens from Myers Apartments are headed to The Katz Club bar car.
Join us at The Katz Club bar car on Sunday, February 9th at 5:30 pm to learn how to craft (and taste) ‘40s era cocktails, sample classic foods, and spend time mingling with the residents of Myers, a senior living apartment in Beachwood.
The Katz Club bar car is a cozy, refurbished 1940s era former diner car. Chef/Owner Doug Katz (Fire, Provenance) and Mixologist Eric Mattimore will be on hand to teach us how to make three vintage cocktails and answer questions. Samples of each will be paired with hearty small plates. Dessert and a welcome cocktail are also included.
The simple act of taking an interest in someone’s story and listening closely means more than you may realize. Throughout the event, you’ll have the opportunity to connect and chat with residents of Myers and learn stories and histories of your community. . It’ll be a remarkable night for all of us.
The cost of the event is $40. (Gratuity has been covered by a generous private donation.)
Space is very limited. Advance registration is required.
*Vegetarian food options will be available. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to accommodate other dietary restrictions.
