I'm disappointed that there were so many NO SHOWS at last night's performance, and disappointed that those of you who did attend failed to see me "holding a plastic flower" in the air while standing toward the front of the church, on the left, as one looked down the main aisle. I indicated previously the location, mentioned the flower (singular) and asked that you arrive by 6:45 PM ... I held the flower & the reserved seats for you until 7:10 PM.

I am sorry Lois. I missed the message about the flower. But I sat across from you, actually. I saw you holding a flower but was too timid to ask if you were a part of a meetup group.

Hi Lois: I got there around 6:40 and was sitting at the left side facing the orchestra at the third row; I was looking around and did not see anyone holding the flowers... I even asked ladies that have grey hair around me if she is Lois (I do not know what you look like). : (

My husband and I really enjoyed the dinner and performance. We were unable to find any of the members of our group. Maybe next time we could meet before hand or a sign on the pews could be used.

Is anyone going to dinner beforehand?

what is the capacity of attendees at the hall?

    November 27, 2012

    • Lois

This is a Catholic Church & I have no idea what the seating capacity is, i.e., seating is on a first-come basis. I intend to get to the Church at 6:30 p.m., to save a few pews toward the front (left). I CANNOT AND WILL NOT GUARANTEE seating for guests who arrive past 6:45 p.m., as others clammer for the seats! Get there early to get the 'best seats' and be guaranteed a seat with the other Meet Up guests. In all fairness to everyone, plan to arrive early ~ you won't be disappointed in either the venue or music.

New to the group . . . Do we purchase tickets ahead of time - or is it open seating?

The concert is free although a basket is passed for donations to help support City Music's mission.

      November 25, 2012

    • Lois

Call to inquire - I don't have the time, but seem to think it's 5:30 p.m.

It sounds like a great night! Count me in. I am new to the group.

Welcome! RSVP so we count you in ...

It's a FREE concert with an opportunity for attendees to make an offering - close-in parking is scarce so get there early. No tickets needed. I'll grab a row of pews up front and give you my cell # and when you call it, I'll stand up and wave or something ... yes, open seating but it's nice for the meet up group to sit together if we can!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
