I thought it would be fun to combine climbing some of London's ace monuments with a bit of a photo walk so we could capture London from up high!
What better way than combining a visit to St Pauls, the Monument and the Tower Walkway ending with a beverage at a rooftop bar!
The itinerary starts at 10.30am at St Pauls - checking out the Whispering Gallery and inside the Cathedral. The price for tickets into St Pauls is £16 and I know not everyone will want to do this part.
http://www.stpauls.co.uk/Visits-Events/Sightseeing-Times-... (you can save £1.50 a ticket by purchasing online)
For those who would like to join after - we'll head to the rooftop of One New Change for views out to London between midday and 12.30pm where we can met those who prefer the later part of the tour!
We'll then walk from St Pauls to Monument where we will climb the 300 steps to the top of the Monument.
The Monument costs £3. (or you can buy a joint Monument and Tower Bridge ticket for £9.
After the Monument we'll walk to Tower Bridge for a stroll across the walkways. Separate entry is £8 for the Tower Walkways (or you can get the combined £9 Monument/Tower Bridge ticket)
We'll then head along the Southbank - there's a newish bar near the HMS Belfast we can have a refreshment in and we can head to a nearby pub afterwards.
Anyone interested in the St Pauls whispering gallery needs to purchase their ticket in advance so we can gain fast track entry.
We can get the tickets for the Monument and Tower Bridge Walkways on the day.
This meet-up is also over on the IgersLondon meet-up page - but thought it would be wise to share it here as well in case peeps hadn't seen it.
